Half hulls were the shipbuilder's model when construction began on a new ship. The Ship's designer would create the half hull which was based on the exact lines of the ship as drawn. The shipwrights would take  measurements off of the half hulls and expand them to the actual size needed. Our collection of half hulls are taken from the original drawings of these famous vessels.
