I have been collecting ship models for over 40 years. I am always on the lookout for new and interesting models, and I've been very lucky in finding interesting and unique items. Along the way, I've put together a varied collection of nautical art, classical models, and harder to find, contemporary models. There is tremendous interest in nautical models and art, but it can be difficult to find the quality pieces that we'd love to add to our home or office at a price that we can afford.
My goal in creating Chatham Model Boatworks was to put together a comprehensive collection of the very best models at an affordable price. Models that might start a collection, but most certainly, models that you would be proud to add to an existing collection. These are not kits, but handcrafted, beautifully executed display models.
You will find a great selection of full models and half hulls covering the nautical history of America right up to the most contemporary America's Cup yachts. The artwork and accessories have been carefully selected to be of high quality but also to be interesting and unique from what you can find anywhere else. And most importantly, all have been priced to make them affordable.
